Community Change

The Laurens Commission of Public Works is pleased to offer Community Change, a program to help needy families and individuals in and around Laurens.

Here's how it works: Each month the utility bills of participating customers are rounded up to the next dollar. Participants' monthly donations can range from one penny to ninety-nine cents per month and usually average only six dollars per year.
All of the money collected is given to local charities to administer. The money will stay in Laurens to help our neighbors in need.

Community Change gives us the power to help our neighbors when they are in need. Together we can change things for the better. Come by our office to sign up.
