Before You Dig

If you plan to dig on your property for landscaping, construction, or any other purpose, you must call 811 to locate any buried electrical, water, sewer, natural gas, cable, and telephone lines. Call 811 at least 72 hours prior to digging on your property so that they can identify and clearly mark these lines. Failing to do so could result in inadvertently cutting a line and you may be responsible for repairs - as well as the resulting disruption of services. More importantly, you may experience serious injury or death.  Remember to call 811 BEFORE YOU DIG.
