easier to keep up with your household budget? With the Balanced Payment Plan, available from the Laurens
Commission of Public Works, that’s exactly what you can do.
Our Balanced Payment Plan estimates your utility bill for twelve months. You pay the same estimated amount
each month for eleven months. Then, in the twelfth month, the CPW will bill you or refund the difference
between the amount that was estimated and the amount you actually used. Throughout the year, the CPW
continues to read your meter on a monthly basis, so you can keep track of your actual usage.
Because you know your monthly bill will be the same for eleven months out of the year, you may even elect
to have the CPW draft your bank account to make paying your bills even more convenient!
The Balanced Payment Plan is available to most customers and there are very few restrictions on who
